Where you're at…

You don't do much exercise at the moment and know you should be doing something to improve your fitness and health. You want to feel fitter, happier and healthy. You have attended classes before but have struggled to keep it up. You might have tried other types of exercise and hated it and know that you need something that you will enjoy.

You love dancing and might have tried Dance Fitness or Zumba before and know that it really works for you.

You are feeling fed up with your weight or body and do not feel good about your fitness levels. You hate the idea of the gym and most types of exercise do not appeal to you. You struggle to feel motivated when it comes to exercise. There aren't enough opportunities for you to socialise with other people in your current day-to-day life. Sometimes you feel stressed and don't have the chance to blow off steam. You feel tired all the time and have low energy.

How can Dance Fitness help you?

It will give you an effective full body workout that will help to improve your fitness, burn calories and lose weight so you can feel good about your body. The focus of the class is not on getting the moves right but on having fun and keeping fit and active. With time your balance, coordination and strength will improve, and you will start to realise how much more your body can do. You will feel confident about learning and remembering new steps.

You will be able to dance the basics in Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Jive and Pasodoble and be able to be led around the dance floor by a partner. It is a sociable class so you will meet new people and make new friends. Dancing will give you the chance to blow off steam, de-stress and give you a boost of endorphins to improve your mood and increase your energy levels.
